Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort 5★ · Benalup · Cádiz
The first thing you notice on arrival is the silence. Fairplay sits in Benalup, inside the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, and the course — a par 73 by Baron Paul Rolin, from 2002 — winds through olive trees, pines and cork oaks without a single development in sight. The first round plays against water, which keeps showing up and forces a decision on almost every tee. The second climbs, and from the elevated tees the whole Janda valley opens up below. And the holes start on the other side of the hotel garden, so there's no need to take a car to go play. Around it lies the best corner of Cádiz: Vejer, Bolonia and Tarifa a morning away, the almadraba tuna of Barbate and Zahara, and the Jerez bodegas a short drive away. From here, too, come the weeks that add Montenmedio and the one that adds Montecastillo and Sherry Golf.

from €985
From 23 November to 31 January the resort offers a complimentary daily green fee. Seven nights, seven rounds and half board for less than a five-round week costs. It's the best-value offer in our whole catalogue, and it only exists in that winter window.
from €1,110
The option of never leaving the resort. Five rounds on the par 73 are enough to get to know it well: by the third you start knowing where not to leave the ball. No travel, no schedules.
from €1,130
Three rounds here and two at Montenmedio, or the other way around. Montenmedio is in Vejer, between La Breña Park and the Barbate marshes, and from its fairways you can see the Atlantic, Tangier and Cape Spartel. Deer, fallow deer and mouflon wander the course, and that's not a figure of speech.
from €1,185
Three rounds at the resort, one at Montecastillo — the Jack Nicklaus course that hosted five Volvo Masters — and one at Sherry Golf, host since 2006 of the European Tour's qualifying stage. The week for anyone who wants to go home having played courses with a name.
Per person in a Superior double room, seven nights with half board included · season 1 November to 11 July.
Any of these stays is the skeleton, not the whole trip. On top of it we build whatever you want to experience, booked and quoted firm: a table at the area's best restaurants, spa and wellness, city visits, and bespoke experiences at our wineries, from a sunset tasting to a paired dinner inside the winery itself. Tell us who's travelling and what they feel like. Designing your bespoke trip costs nothing: the initial proposal and one revision. From the third version onward, finalising the itinerary costs €100, fully deducted from your trip's price if you book it with us.
From €985 per person

Maximum handicap 54, and a golf licence is required. Tee times are filled in groups of four players. On weeks that add Montenmedio, Montecastillo or Sherry Golf, the order of the courses is set by tee-time availability and confirmed before travel.
