Between Lepe and Isla Cristina · Huelva
Twenty-seven holes split into three nine-hole loops that combine with each other, each with its own character. The Blue is the demanding one, built for low handicaps. The Yellow is the middle ground, and the one with the sea views. The Green is the most forgiving, appreciated by anyone who doesn't play every week. That changes an entire week: you can come back three days running and play three different courses. It opened in 1992, designed by Enrique Canales and Luis Recasens, and three years later it was already good enough to host the 1995 Spanish Masters. In 2000, Golf Digest placed it among Europe's hundred best courses. The terrain is gentle hills among pine forest, with water features spread throughout and the Costa de la Luz landscape as a backdrop. Its practice area is among the largest in Huelva: a driving range for more than sixty players, three bunkers, two putting greens and a pitching area. It sits between Lepe and Isla Cristina, a step from the beach.
Three courses in one. Twenty-seven holes aren't a brochure flourish: they're three distinct courses that pair however you like. In a week of golf that means real variety without ever getting in a car.
